Thefollowingtwoproceduresmustbeperformedsimultaneouslybythepersononthe
bridgeandthepersoninthesonarroom:
Actionsonthebridgeshallbeperformedonthebridge.
Actionsinthesonarroomshallbeperformedinthesonarroom.
Tosimplifythetest,youmaybringacopyoftheapplicablepagesfromthismanual
downtothesonarroom.
Important
Makesurethatpropercommunicationexistsbetweenthetwobridgeandthesonarroom.
Note
Shouldproblemsoccurinthesonarroom,thepersoninthesonarroommustsetthe
serviceswitchS1onthePSUMainpowersupplyto“Off”(middleposition).
WARNING
Ifthesonarsystemstartstransmittingwhilethetransducerisin
openair,thismayleadtoseriousdamagetothetransducerand
thetransmitters.
