Purpose
Thisprocedureexplainshowtotestthehoist/lowerfunctionalityfromthebridge
Procedure
1Checkthatthedepthunderthekeelissufcienttosafelylowerthetransducer.
2Startthesonar.
aPressandholdthePowerbuttonontheOperatingPanelforapproximately
twoseconds.
bCheckthatthegreenLEDnexttothePowerbuttonstartsblinking.
cObservethatthesonarpictureisdisplayedafterapproximatelyoneminute.
dCheckthatthegreenLEDnexttotheUpbuttonilluminates.
eCheckthattheupperbuttonintheStatusmenushowsTransducer:UP.
fIfcommunicationexists,notifythesonarroomtoperformthenextstep.

middleposition.

bCheckthattheLEDnexttotheMiddlebuttonstartstoash,andthatthe
audiblesignalindicatestransducermovement.

cWhenmiddlepositionhasbeenreached,checkthattheLEDnexttotheMiddle
buttonilluminatescontinuously,thattheaudiblesignalstops,andthattheupper
buttonintheStatusmenushowsTransducer:MIDDLE.
