The high-pressure hose has a replaceable adapter nut
on one side (see fig. 6, pos. 1). The adapter nut can be
changed, depending on the thread size of the high-
pressure outlet on the common rail pump. During use,
the adapter nut is screwed onto the high-pressure hose
and tightened. The scope of delivery includes three
adapter nuts for the following thread sizes:

1 683 345 052 M14x1.5 – M18x1.5
1 683 345 053 M16x1.5 – M18x1.5
The bent test pressure lines 1 680 750 123 can be used
to connect the high-pressure hose 1 680 712 324 to
difficult-to-access high-pressure outlets. Adapter nut
1683 345 053 (fig. 7, pos. 3) must be used to connect
the test pressure line to the high-pressure hose.

3.5.8 Lubricating oil supply (optional accessory)
The lubricating oil supply provides common rail pumps
that are not lubricated by fuel with lubricating oil during
test operation.

3.6 Installation and initial commissioning
The EPS 708 may only be brought into service by
Bosch Customer Service or authorized service agents.
