6.8 Replacing filters in the hydraulics
area
¶ Remove the upper left cover (fig. 3, pos. 7) from the
back of the EPS 708.
CAUTION – Risk of injury from sharp edges
and burrs!
Sharp edges and burrs risk injuring the
hands during filter replacement.
¶ Wear protective gloves.
i Make sure that the hydraulics area is always closed
with the cover following each filter replacement.

2 Screw clamps
1. Slacken the screw clamps (fig.23, pos. 2).
2. Pull the hoses off the filter (fig.23, pos. 1).
3. Remove the volume meter filter and dispose of it.
4. Push hoses onto the new filter.
5. Secure the screw clamps.
" The filter is now changed.
