page contains fields for defining line passwords for management methods. To
open the
Line Password
page, click
System
Management Security
Line Passwords
in the tree
view.

Line Password for Console/Telnet/Secure Telnet (0-159 Characters)
— The line password for
accessing the device via a console, Telnet, or Secure Telnet session. Passwords can contain a
maximum of 159 characters.
Confirm Password
— Confirms the new line password. The password appears in the ***** format.
