MODEL AD 182 H
RADIO ON
Press the ON switch (23) once: the equip-
ment should come on. If the radio is on whilst
the engine is off, then it goes off auto-
matically after around 20 minutes.
Switching on / off with engine started /
stopped
The radio possesses a logic whereby if
acti-
vated it allows the radio to be switched on /
switched off simultaneously to the engine
being started up / switched off.
If the logic is activated: when the engine is
started up / switched off, the radio is auto-
matically switched on / off.
If the logic is not activated: the radio can be
switched on / off irrespective of whether the
engine is switched on / off.
In order to activate this logic, proceed as
fol-
lows:
- keep the "MUTE" button (26) pressed with
the radio off until the words "IGN ON" ap-
pear on the display, then switch on the ra-
dio with the "ON" switch (23).
The
logic is only activated when the
radio is switched on with the "ON"
switch (23).
To deactivate this logic, proceed as follows:
- keep the "MUTE" button (26) pressed with
the radio off until the words "IGN OFF" ap-
pear on the display.
Irrespective of whether or not the logic is ac-
tivated,
it is possible to switch the radio on /
off and to activate / deactivate the "MUTTE"
function,
which can be selected with the ra-
dio on as indicated in the paragraph "Mute
Function",
without this logic being activated
or deactivated.
SELECTING RADIO / CASSETTE / COM-
PACT DISC FUNCTIONS
Press the "MODE" switch (8) repeatedly to
select the following functions cyclically:
- RADIO: the word "RADIO" appears on the
display momentarily;
- CASSETTE (if previously switched on): the
word "TAPE" appears on the display mo-
mentarily;
- COMPACT DISC (if a Compact Disc play-
er is fitted) : the word "CD" appears on the
display momentarily.
