Removing-refitting (1580 16V engine)
Position the vehicle on a lift.
1. Raise the vehicle and move aside the pro-
tective boot for the starter motor supply
contacts.
2. Disconnect the supply contacts for the
starter motor.
3. Undo the bolts fixing the starter motor to
the power unit and remove it from the ve-
hicle.
