A subsequent fault to the Fiat Code control
unit which entails the latter's replacement will
also entail replacement of the Engine Control
Unit and reprogramming of the system.

key is inserted in the handle of the MASTER
key in the new set.

The Fiat Code control unit, the
engine control unit and key
notches must be replaced and the
electronic keys must be memo-
rized.

The spare key is used and posses-
sion of the car is regained. In or-
der to avoid the key being found
by ill-intentioned persons and the
car being stolen, it is advisable to
complete the set of keys and, by
means of the REMEMORIZA-
TION procedure, to memorize
ALL of them again.
Go to the service centre and ob-
tain a mechanical key. Regain
possession of the car by means of
the EMERGENCY PROCEDURE.
In order to avoid the key being
found by ill-intentioned persons
and the car being stolen, it is ad-
visable to complete the set of
keys and, by means of the RE-
MEMORIZATION procedure, to
memorize ALL of them again.
The Fiat Code control unit and
the engine control unit must be
replaced and the electronic keys
memorized.
All the key notches must be re-
placed and the EMERGENCY
PROCEDURE must be activated.
As soon as the MASTER key is
recovered, its transponder is in-
serted in the MASTER key of the
kit supplied with the new notch-
es, and the new keys are memo-
rized by means of the REMEMO-
RIZATION procedure.
