ENGINE CUT-OUT SOLENOID
Checking operation of engine cut-out sole-
noid (on fuel injection pump)
Turn the ignition on to energize the engine
cut-out solenoid on the fuel injection pump.
The sound of the solenoid clicking should be
perceived from the engine compartment. If
not, check the operation of the solenoid and,
if this is satisfactory, check whether the
con-
necting cable between the ignition switch
and engine cut-out solenoid is broken.
