Positioning the replacement part
1.
Renew the sealant on the bodyshell ribs, using IVI 854210 transparent acrylic sealant or an equiva-
lent product.
2.-
Carefully place the replacement part in position .
3. Check that the roof panel is perfectly positioned on the bodyshell.
4.
Fix the replacement part to the bodyshell using the special self-locking clamps.
Welding the spare part
1.
Carry out the brass welding using an oxyacetylene canister by the corners of the front and rear roof
pillars.
2.
Using a continuous welder continue the operation on the entire contact edge between the roof and
the bodyshell.
