Electrical equipment

Air bag

Bravo-Brava

55.

Unscrew the bolts fastening the glove

compartment and remove from the car.

Disconnect supply connector leading

from the control unit.

3. Unscrew the bolts fastening the air bag to

the body.

Remove the air bag from the car.

Following removal, unactivated air

bag modules should immediately be

placed in a specially marked cabinet

and locked

away.

The module should be placed with

the metal part resting on the surface

as shown in the figure.

NOTE Refit the air bag by carrying out re-

moval instructions in reverse

order.

NEVER CONNECT THE BATTERY

UNTIL INSTALLATION IS COM-

PLETE

NOTE After refitting, check system

operation by

means

of a FIAT I LAN-

CIA

TESTER

or other diagnostic in-

strument.
