1.
Remove the stator/plate brush holder as-
sembly from the starter motor.
2.
Undo the nuts,shown fixing the electro-
magnet to the starter motor.
3. Remove the electro-magnet.
4.
Extract the spring guide bush from the
starter motor.
5. Using a screwdriver, remove and extract
the rotor/pinion engagement fork assem-
bly from the starter motor front support.
