x 18 = NO OK
At the end of the procedure if the LED:
- FLASHES 6 times, this means that the code
has been correctly programmed;
- FLASHES 18 times, this means that the se-
rial line between the receiver and the alarm
is broken or that a previously programmed
code has remained in the alarmmemory
(failure to accept new code). If this should
occur, proceed as described below.
If the programming button in the courtesy light is not pressed the ITAL
Y
operating mode will
be recognized automatically if this operation is being carried out for the first time. If, on the
other
hand,
this operation has a/ready been carried out previously, then the system will arrange
the mode a/ready programmed.
NOTE In order to programme the country code and recognize the operating mode of the actual Coun-
try, use the following procedure.
1) - Open the bonnet lid;
2) - turn the ignition key from the ON position
to the OFF position;
3) - within 15 seconds move on to the next op-
eration;
press the bonnet lid button (A) 7 times in
rapid succession;
_^_ This last manoeuvre should be car-
n(n ried out in less than 10 seconds.
