7.2 CW Mode (Continuous Wave Doppler)
The CW mode is subdivided in two groups. In these groups you will see how to use CW mode and
how to adjust the CW settings.
To use the CW mode review: CW Main Menu (chapter 7.2.1)
To adjust CW setting review: CW Sub Menu
(chapter 7.2.3)
To use special utilities review: Utilities
(chapter 12) and Gray Chroma Map (chapter 12.1)
7.2.1 CW Main Menu
CW Mode key (hard key)
Press the [CW] control to activate the CW mode in the preparation mode.
First only the CW-cursor appears on the active 2D image.
To start and use the CW mode review: CW Operation (chapter 7.2.2)
To adjust the CW settings review : CW Sub Menu
(chapter 7.2.3)
The “CW Main” menu appears on the screen (write mode).
Remarks: Changing the Speed, CW-cursor position, CW-Focus, Wall Motion Filter and PRF is not
possible in Read-Mode.
