14.7.4.20 PISA Radius and PISA Alias Velocity
There are two methods to calculate MV (Mitral Valve) and TV (Tricuspid Valve) in Color mode:
PISA Radius and PISA Alias Velocity.
1. After obtaining a feasible image, press the [Calc] key on the
control panel.
The Cardiac calculations menu appears on the touchpanel.
2. Select [MV] or [TV] and [PISA Radius].
3. The cursor appears on the screen. Measure the selected item as
Distance by using the trackball and the right or left trackball key
[Set].
4. Select [PISA Alias] after measuring PISA Radius.
5. This multiplies the PISA-Radius value by the maximum velocity
of the regurgitation to calculate PISA Alias.
