11.2.2.1 Orientation Help Graphic
The orientation help image is only displayed in the lower right quadrant in Sectional Planes Mode.
To activate or deactivate the Orientation Help Graphic select the
[O.H. Graphic] item in the “3D/4D Main” menu.
The volume body is shown in a somewhat simplified manner (arcs substituted by straight lines).
The help image figure shows the intersections of a plane within the volume body by lines.
e.g.: O.H Graphic of an Abdominal Transducer.
Please note:
The O.H. Graphic of the transvaginal
3D volume transducer is inverted.
Note:
The orientation help image shows only the position of the actual reference image plane within
the volume body without direct relation to the patient.
11.2.3 Principle of Sectional Image Analysis
The display screen shows that sectional plane located within the volume, which has been selected by
rotating and shifting of the volume body in relation to the display plane.
Displacement of the volume body relative to the display plane:
Rotation of the volume body in relation to the display plane:

The rotation can be about the X-axis or the Y-axis of the display plane, or the Z-axis which is normal
to the display plane.
