4.4 Transducer Connection
CAUTION! Prior to connecting or disconnecting a probe freeze the image.
It is unnecessary to switch the unit off.
If a probe is disconnected while running (write mode) a software error may
occur. In this case switch the unit OFF and later ON (perform a reset).
CAUTION!
If the cable spout on the right-hand door is missing do not pull on the probe
cable, the probe cable can be damaged. Please insert the spout in the destined
place or call the Service Department.
Plug the probe connector into a free socket. Do not apply force. Open the right-hand side door, lay the
cable into the intended cable holders and close the door. Each probe connector has a mechanical
fixation lock which has to be engaged to enable the probe to be working at all.
Probe Connector :
shown unlocked. Turn the knob clockwise to lock.
Note:
A disconnection of an active probe is permitted in read mode only !!!
If a probe is disconnected while running (write mode) a software error can occur!
