Calculations and Patient Reports
14.3.2 Before starting OB Calculations
Confirm that the patient information is correct and the probe and application are selected properly.
If another application is selected, press the [Probe] key and confirm which application is selected
currently in the probe selection menu screen. Change the application to Obstetrics (OB).
Refer to: Probe/Program Selection
(chapter 4.5)
Patient information must first be registered via the Patient Information menu.
To cancel all calculations performed before, and to begin a new measurement, press the [End Exam]
key on the control panel.
14.3.3 To enter Basic OB Information
Enter the information for the OB calculations in addition to the basic information of a
patient via the [Patient] key.
Select the Application OB to add all details such as LMP and Gestations.
The selected information appears as follows.
The patient information for the OB calculations includes LMP (Last Menstrual Period) and Gestations.
Enter LMP, then EDD (Estimated Delivery Date) and GA (Gestational Age) are displayed
automatically.
Each OB exam supports multiple gestation studies, providing separate measurement information for
each fetus. Enter the number of gestations in the Gestations field. For example, if the patient expects
twins, enter “2”.
NOTE:
For multiple gestation examinations the corresponding fetus number must be entered
in this page before measurements are performed.
