14.7.4.8 Heart Rate (HR)
1. Press the [Calc] key.
The Cardiac calculations menu appears in the menu area.
2. Select the item Heart Rate [HR] in the menu.
3. When the vertical line appears on the screen, move it to the first
point to measure using the trackball and the right or left trackball
[Set] key. The second line appears.
4. Select the number of heart rate cycles necessary for measurement with the digipot.
5. Move the second line to the selected number of heart rate cycles to be measured.
Then press the right or the left trackball [Set] key. The Heart Rate is displayed.
14.7.4.9 MV (Mitral Valve) in M Mode
There are two methods to calculate MV (Mitral Valve) in the M mode.
One method is to calculate all items at a time and the other is to calculate one by one.
• To measure the Items One by One

• To measure all Items at a Time
(chapter 14.7.4.9.2)
14.7.4.9.1 To measure the Items One by One
To measure the items such as D-E, EPSS, E-F Slope, A-C Interval:
1. Press the [Calc] key on the control panel.
The Cardiac calculations menu appears in the menu area.
2. Select [MV M-Mode] and select the appropriate item.
3. Perform the measurements by using the trackball and the right or left trackball key.
