14.3.4.3 To calculate AFI
To calculate AFI, Amniotic Fluid Index:
1. Press the [Calc] key on the control panel.
The OB calculations menu appears in the menu area on the left side of the screen.
2. Select the [AFI] item. The Menu area changes to the AFI menu.
3. Select from the four items of [Q1] , [Q2[ , [Q3] , and [Q4].
Or select [All].
4. Perform the measurement using the trackball and the right or left
trackball key.

(chapter 13.2.1)
5. Press [Freeze] to return to the scan mode.
Press [Freeze] again to return to the calculation mode.
If [All] is not selected, select each item individually in the menu area. Perform the measurement using
the trackball and the right trackball key.
Perform the measurement of the four items by the same manner.
