16.3 Saving
Press these keys to store the scanned images (or volumes) either in the
Sonoview or to send them to an external DICOM server.
To select the save destination review: Peripherals

There are different ways to store images:
• Saving 2D Images
(chapter 16.3.1)
• Saving 2D Cine
(chapter 16.3.2)
• Saving 3D
(chapter 16.3.3)
• Saving 4D
(chapter
• Save as AVI file
(chapter 16.3.5)
• Sending Images to a DICOM Server
(chapter 16.3.7)
All of the images (except Save as AVI) can be characterized with individual text.
• Save with Comment
(chapter 16.3.6)
Note:
Patient Information must be entered.
If no Patient Information is entered the Patient dialog menu appears. Insert the Patient Information.

During the Saving process one of the following messages will be displayed on the screen:
will appear, if the Save Destination “Sonoview” is selected
in the System Setup.
will appear, if the Save Destination “DICOM Server” is
selected in the System Setup.
Remark:
Press these keys twice to store the displayed Image or Volume to the selected
Save Destination (Sonoview or DICOM Server).
