11.3.3 Contrast
Graphic display on screen:
This graphic is provided only for the 3D/4D image.
Horizontal axis: gray values from 0 to 255
Vertical axis : brightness from black to white
1. Set the start point of gamma curve bending.
2. Set the contrast of the bending.
Note:
The settings require an alert observation of the influence on the 3D-image!
These keys are not available in Static 3D Sectional Planes mode.
11.3.4 Background
With the Background select of the screen brightness function the contrast between screen background
and B-image is set. This function is only of significance in B-scan, when a part of the screen
background is visible.
Adjust the contrast of the screen background from dark to bright.
Note: This key is not available in Static 3D Sectional Planes mode.
11.3.5 Balance
Normally this function does not need to be adjusted.
Note: This key is only available if a 3D+CFM or a 3D+PD image is acquired.
11.3.6 Power Threshold
This function eliminates low color noise of motion artifact signals in the sectional slices as well as in
the rendered 3D image.
A lower number cuts off less signal than a higher number.
Note: This key is only available if a 3D+CFM or a 3D+PD image is acquired.
