The Portal servers are installed and configured. For the installation and configuration,
refer to Comprehensive Access Management Server Portal User Manual.
Note:

2.2.2 Portal Configuration Tasks
The following table describes Portal configuration tasks.

Enter the system view

Configure Portal servers

Required. By default, no
Portal server is configured.
When a Portal server is
configured, by default,
key-string is Huawei, port is
50,100, and url-string is an IP
address character string.
Configure Portal
operating modes
portal method { direct
| redhcp | layer3 }
Optional. By default, Portal
operating mode is direct
authentication.
Configure authentication
network segments
portal auth-network
network-address
net-mask vlan vlan_id
When configuring Portal
operating mode as Layer 3
Portal authentication, you
must configure this
command. When others are
configured for the Portal
operating mode, you do not
need to configure this
command.
Time intervals for ARP
handshaking with user
PCs and the maximum
number of times for
handshake to fail
portal arp-handshake
{ interval interval |
retry-times
retry-times }*
Optional. This task is only
valid for direct authentication
and re-DHCP authentication.
By default, the time interval
for ARP handshake is 60
seconds, and the maximum
number of times for
handshake to fail is 5.
