TX Matrix Plus Redundant Power Supplies
The TX Matrix Plus router supports DC power only. The TX Matrix router has two
load-sharing DC power supplies located at the lower rear of the chassis in slots PEM0
and PEM1 (top to bottom) . The TX Matrix Plus router supports the seven-input 420-A
power supply. Figure 308 on page 619 shows the TX Matrix Plus router power supplies
and where they are installed in the chassis.
These two power supplies share the load evenly. If one power supply fails, the other
power supply can provide full power to the TX Matrix Plus router indefinitely.
