Torque limit based on TLIM/P_TLIM/N_TLIM
Torque is limited through data area (TLIM/P_TLIM/N_TLIM) of the MECHATROLINK-II communication command.
For details, see "A-4 MECHATROLINK-II Communication Commands", Page A-30 and User's Manual of the higher-
level equipment .
Torque limit based on parameters
To set an internal torque limit value through a parameter.
Pulse/analog input type
Torque of the servo motor is limited according to the specified torque through inputting an internal torque limit value or
analog voltage.
Switching torque limit mode
Torque limit is divided into three types: "Internal torque limit (basic)", "Internal torque limit (extend)" and "Analog
torque limit".
Torque limit mode can be set through a parameter.
"Internal torque limit (basic)" is always enabled in all modes, and "Internal torque limit (extend)"/"Analog torque limit
(T-REF)" will be enabled/disabled as follows according to the above parameters.
Setting
0. . . . . . . . . . Only internal torque limit (basic) is enabled
1. . . . . . . . . . Internal torque limit (basic) is enabled
Enable/disable status of internal torque limit (extend) can be switched through the "Forward torque
limit selection (PTL)" input and the "Revarsal torque limit selection (NTL)" input.
2. . . . . . . . . . The "Internal torque limit (basic)" and the "Analog torque limit (T-REF)" input are enabled
*Disabled during torque control or servo trial run (servo JOG operation/Z-phase search).
3. . . . . . . . . . Internal torque limit (basic) is enabled
Enable/disable status of the "Analog torque limit (T-REF)" input can be switched through the
"Forward torque limit selection (PTL)" input and "Revarsal torque limit selection ((NTL)" input.
*Disabled during torque control or servo trial run (servo JOG operation/Z-phase search).
4. . . . . . . . . . Internal torque limit (basic) is enabled
Enable/disable status of the "Internal torque limit (extend) and "Analog torque limit (T-REF)" input can
be swtiched through the "Forward torque limit selection (PTL)" input and "Revarsal torque limit
selection (NTL)" input.
*Disabled during torque control or servo trial run (servo JOG operation/Z-phase search).
