8-6 Tuning Related Functions

Vibration Suppression
Vibration suppression function is a function to suppress 1 to 100Hz low/intermittent vibration generated due to pedestal
vibration.
When Gain search PRO is executed, vibration suppression will be set automatically.
Auto tuning is disabled
You have the option to use/not to use vibration suppression function. Steps to follow are as follows.
■ Use the Access Window
Before setting, be sure to execute "auto tuning parameter mapping" and "estimation of ratio of inertia moment".

Set up vibration suppression enable/disable as shown below.

Press the " " and " " key to select "2.Tuning". Then press the " " key
to sisplay the submenu.

Press " " key/" " key to select one of "3.GainSrchIN"/"4.GainSrchEX"

Then press " " key.
Display submenu.
4 Select "Parameter", then press " " key.
5 Press " "/" " key to select "Vibration suppression auto adj"
to set up vibration suppression enable/disable.

■ Key points for vibration suppression
To use vibration suppression function, be sure to pay attention to the following key points.
• When the setting of load moment of inertia ratio is incorrect, appropriate adjustment cannot be executed. Before
tuning, be sure to execute estimation of ratio of inertia moment etc.You need to set up an appropriate moment of
inertia ratio before tuning.
