COMMON PARAMETER SETTING
Electric Gear Setting (Position Control Mode)
A position command from the higher-level equipment will be sent to the servo motor after being converted through a
electric gear ratio.
MECHATROLINK-II type
When the MECHATROLINK-II type servo amplifier is used in combination with KV-ML16V, be sure to set
the electric gear to 1:1. If it is changed, then it is not possible to operate normally.
Pulse/analog input type
To set up electric gear through parameter.
Be sure to set the electric gear within the range of 0.001 ≦electric gear ratio (POS_02/POS_03) ≦4000.
The "*Parameter setting error 0" alarm (040) will occur when it exceeds the setting range.
■ Electric gear multi-factor switching
The pulse/analog input type servo amplifier can switch the electric gear according to result of the electric gear
multiplied by set multi-factor through the "Electric gear switching 1 (GEAR1)"/"Electric gear switching 2 (GEAR2)"
input. If this function is used, then the servo amplifier can control 4-level switching speed for a specific frequency input
from the higher-level equipment.
Since the electric gear numerator multi-factor parameter will be enabled once it is changed, so the servo motor
may operate fast.
The electric gear switching can be set through a parameter.
