Replacement of Lithium Battery
When voltage of lithium battery with battery case (SV-B1) is low, "ABS encoder battery alarm" (830) or "ABS encoder
battery warning" (930) occurs. In this case, the lithium battery should be replaced.
Even if the above-mentioned alarm/warning do not occur, once the recommended replacement period (about 3 years)
expires, lithium battery should also be replaced.
To replace the battery, be sure to use the backup lithium battery (OP-51422) and make replacement according to the
following steps.
Lithium battery should be replaced when control circuit power is on. If lithium battery is removed when
control circuit power is OFF, current position will be lost.
Be sure to replace lithium battery when main circuit power is OFF, so as to prevent electric shock.
Replace lithium battery
To replace battery, slide and remove lithium battery with battery case (SV-B1) on servo amplifier and replace with the
backup lithium battery (OP-51422) .
Note
Remove lithium battery with
battery case (SV-B1) from
servo amplifier.
Remove battery inside. Mount backup lithium
battery
(OP-51422) .
Find the groove and slide
lithium battery with battery
case, until it is locked in place.
