● Installation regulation
The installation regulation of control panel shown in the following diagram must be followed for amplifier installation
including installing multiple servo amplifiers side by side in the control panel.
• Cooling
According to the following diagram, enough space must be kept to ensure the cooling effect of fan and natural convection.
Be sure that temperature is uniform in the control panel.
• When installing multiple servo amplifiers side by side in the control panel
The space between two servo amplifiers is about 1 mm.
However, at least 10mm space must be kept on the right side of the 750W, 1kW and 400W (100V input) servo
amplifier to ensure cooling with cooling fan. In addition, at least 10mm space should be left on both sides of 1.5kW
to 5kW servo amplifier.
Installing Servo Motor
■ Precautions
•
Do not install or store servo motor in the following environment, otherwise, fire, electric shock or failure will occur.
• Outdoor or places with direct sunshine
• Places where ambient or storage temperature exceeds specified temperature range
• Places where ambient or storage humidity exceeds specified humidity range
• Places with altitude exceeding 1000m
• Places with condensation due to sharp change in temperature
• Places close to corrosive gases, combustible gases or flammable materials
• Places where large amount of dust, salt substances or metal powder exist
• Places where oil drops or chemicals exist
• Places where vibration or shock exist
• Places where check or clean is difficult to perform
• Use it in the environment satisfying the degree of protection of motor, otherwise fault will occur.
• Take measures such as installing a cover when servo motor is installed in the environment where water or oil drop
exist. In addition, it is recommended to install the connector downwards.
• Do not stand on it, or place weight on it, otherwise injury will occur.
• Prevent foreign materials from entering into it, otherwise fire or fault will occur.
•
Wipe the anti-rust agent coated at the motor shaft end. clean with a piece of cloth dampened with cleaning fluid before
installation, otherwise, motor can not be combined with the mechanical system.
• Use the flexible coupling specific to servo motor for coupling with target machine.
