PARAMETER SETTING AND OPERATION OF PULSE/ANALOG INPUT
7
7-2 Servo ON
Servo ON Setting
Once being set to ON, the servo motor can be started by powering ON. And the "Operation ready complete(RDY)"
output becomes ON.
For details about the sequence control program, see "4-3 Wiring the Power Supply of Main/Control Circuit", Page
4-6.
In case an alarm occurs, Servo is OFF, even if the "SVON" input is ON.
The "RDY" output is OFF once servo is OFF.
Servo becomes ON again once the alarm is reset. And the "RDY" output also becomes ON.
Do not start/stop the servo motor by ON/OFF "SVON" signal or AC power supply. Otherwise, aging may
occur to internal components to lead to failures.
How to make servo ON
Two methods are available, i.e. using the "Servo ON (SVON)" input of I/O terminal or "AutoON" setting.
Servo ON based on SVON
The SVON input is used to start the servo motor. For the specification and wiring, see "4-5 Wiring I/O Signals",
Page 4-24.
Servo ON based on AutoON
AutoON of servo motor can be enabled by parameters setting.
When "AutoON" is set, the servo motor may operate once the power of main circuit is ON by an input
command. So be sure to take appropriate safety measures.
When "AutoON" is set, the servo motor may operate once the servo is ON after the alarm/warning is
removed. So be sure to take appropriate safety measures.
Servo ON conditions
Servo is ON once all the following conditions are met. In case one of these conditions is not met, "Servo on condition fail
warning" (9D2) occurs. In this case, the unit cannot be switched to "Servo ON".
*1 The alarm output lasts up to 5 seconds after the power of control circuit is ON. Servo ON is unavailable in this
period.
