8-4 Gain Search PRO
- SV Series User’s Manual -
Key Points
In case Gain search PRO cannot be doned, be sure to check the following points:
Gain search PRO should be done when the machine is free of vibration. Otherwise, a failure may occur.
Gain search PRO takes the initial speed control gain set up as the reference value. Be sure to execute auto tuning
and parameter mapping to set up a suitable speed control gain before you execute Gain search PRO.
When the setting of load moment of inertia ratio is incorrect, appropriate adjustment cannot be executed. Before
executing Gain search PRO, be sure to execute estimation of ratio of inertia moment to set up an appropriate
moment of inertia ratio befpre you execute Gain search PRO.
In case the mechanism or load is changed after executing Gain search PRO, be sure to change the following
parameters to default value before you start Gain search PRO.
Otherwise, mechanical vibration may occur.
Vibration control: Disable
First-order notch filter: Disable
Second-order notch filter: Disable
Friction compensation: Disable
The "INPOS range" (POS_04) should be used for adjustment. In position control mode, the actual value should be
used for electric gear and INPOS range setting. In speed control mode, the default value.
Error messages
In case an error message is displayed in the calculation, be sure to take corrective measures as listed in the following
table.

Automatic adjustment of Gain search PRO is

Rigidity is low, after positioning operation,

Please set to use automatic adjustment of
vibration control
Please use PI (proportion + integral)
operation
Please increase INPOS range.
