Reset switches
There are four reset switches, two are allocated to the master controllers and the other
two to the routers. These switches are only to be used if a fault is suspected; see “To
reset a master controller or router” on page 268. Do not operate these switches
during normal operation, they are for fault correction purposes only.
Comms
The comms section of the output bay deals with communications, or talk, and
comprises: a signal generator section (containing a sinusoidal oscillator and pink
noise generator); a talk mic section for control of a control surface-located talkback
microphone; and a talk/osc routing section for sending signal generator signals and
talk mic signals to buses within the console. The controls in this area are not affected
by automation.
