Operator Manual
To connect the XL8/RapidE
Connection between the XL8 Control Centre and RapidE is via a single Ethernet cable.
Interconnection can be made with the RapidE and XL8 fully powered up.

1 Plug the interconnecting Ethernet cable into the external 2 socket
on the rear of the XL8 Control Centre. This is in the white
Ethernet tunnel panel, in the X row of connectors.
2 Plug the other end of the interconnecting Ethernet cable into any
one of the eight Ethernet sockets on the rear of the RapidE unit,
for example, ETHERNET 5.
3 Check that LEDs at both connections are showing that
communication between the XL8 and RapidE is good.
