Channel configuration
The next group of input channel controls is loosely termed ‘channel configuration’
controls and their control is divided between the control centre and the GUI. They
consist of:
• Input channel source: physical location the input channel is notionally getting its
audio from.
• Input channel direct output: routes signal path from a selected point to an I/O.
• Input channel safes: various groups of input channel controls that can be isolated
from changes instigated by the automation system.
• Input channel delay: user-defined delay to be added to the input signal
processing.
• Input channel processing order: provides selection of whether the dynamics
section or the EQ section comes first in the input channel signal path.
