monitor a and b output panel and meters
This is the monitor output panel. The controls in this area do not have GUI support and
are unaffected by automation. There are two monitor paths, A and B, that are virtually
identical in operation except that monitor a has a fader for level control (monitor b
has a control knob) and switch for swapping the control output of the headphones to
fader. These control the output levels in their respective sections.
monitor a and monitor b meters monitor the peak signal levels of stereo left and right
for both monitor paths. The metering capabilities of both monitors is the same.
1 Control knob for monitor b signal adjustment from +10
to -∞.
2 MUTE switch (monitor a and b sections) for muting the
headphones.
3 Control knob (monitor a and b sections) for adjusting
headphone level. Ranges from +10 to -∞.
4 Left and right monitor output MUTE switches (monitor
a and b sections).
5 DIM switches (monitor a and b sections) for dimming
output level by 20dB.
6 C/O fader switch for switching control output of
headphones to fader on monitor a section. Integral LED for
switch on/off indication, where on = fader control and off =
no fader control.
7 Non-automated fader for control of output level from
+10 to -∞ on monitor a section.
8 Stereo left and right peak level meters for monitor a
and b sections.
