To use internal talk or osc routing
Before you can select a talk group the TALK/internal and/or OSC/internal buttons
must be active. (This also applies to generator routing.) Also, if any internal talk or osc
generator routing is active when the TALK/internal and/or OSC/internal buttons are
both switched off, this routing is cancelled.
To activate a talk group
To activate any of the talk group buttons in the talk / osc routing section, carry out
the following:
When activated, all talk group member functions are activated.
To deactivate a talk group
With a talk group currently active, any of the following actions will deactivate it:
• Pressing the button of the currently active talk group. A quick or prolonged press
(more than one second) will have the same effect.
• Giving a quick press of a different talk group button. This will leave no talk groups
currently active.
• Giving a prolonged press of a different talk group button (more than one second).
Not only will it deactivate the currently active talk group, but it will active the one
currently pressed.
• Switching off both the TALK/internal and OSC/internal buttons.

Setting up a talk group is done at the Talk Groups screen; see “Talk Groups screen” on
