7.12.8 Attach the cable shield using a hose clamp
Overview
If a shielded line supply cable is used, the line supply cable shield must be connected. The shield
can be connected to the shield connection plate using a hose clamp.
Requirement
The following requirements must be satis󹪝ed:
• The line supply cable is connected at the Smart Line Module.
• Use a suitable hose clamp.
Procedure
Connect the line supply cable shield to the Smart Line Module shield connection plate as follows:
Fasten the line supply cable shield to the Smart Line Module shield connection plate using a
hose clamp.
