4.7 Operation on an IT system
Overview
The drive line-up is suitable for connection to an IT system.
Requirement
When connected to an IT system, only Line Modules without line 󹪝lter are permissible.
Description
In an IT system, all active conductors are isolated from ground or are connected to ground
through a high-resistance impedance.
Either a transformer or an independent current source such as a generator is used for infeed.
No active conductor is connected to ground through a low resistance.
Under de󹪝ned conditions, it is also possible to include the neutral conductor in an IT system.
