8.4.12 Service and maintenance
8.4.12.1 Replace the fan
Requirement
WARNING
Electric shock when live parts are touched
You must switch o󹪜 the supply voltages (400VAC and 24V DC) before replacing the fan. A
hazardous voltage (residual charge) is still present for up to 5 minutes after the power supply
has been switched o󹪜.
Contact with live parts can result in death or serious injury.
• Wait at least this long before starting work to replace the fan.
• Check that the drive line-up is in a no-voltage condition before removing the component.
Motor Modules have an operating hours counter (p0251) to determine when the fan needs
to be replaced, and a message (A30042) is output as soon as the maximum operating time is
reached. The fan modules of the Motor Modules can be ordered as replacement parts.
Only quali󹪝ed personnel are permitted to install spare parts.
When replacing the fan, you must observe the ESD regulations.
Always use the following fan module when replacing the fan:
