5.1.1 Installation regulations for SINAMICS components
Requirement

Reduction of component service lives through incorrect mounting
Failure to observe the guidelines for installing components in the control cabinet can reduce
the service life of the parts and result in premature component failure.
• Comply with the installation regulations for SINAMICS components.
Description
Power units and their accessories may only be operated in an environment as described in this
documentation (pollution, ambient temperature, installation altitude, air humidity, degree of
protection). More detailed information on this is provided in Chapter "System data (Page36)".
