EC Declaration of Conformity
You can 󹪝nd the EC Declaration of Conformity for the relevant directives as well as the relevant
certi󹪝cates, prototype test certi󹪝cates, manufacturer declarations and test certi󹪝cates for
functions relating to functional safety ("Safety Integrated") on the internet at the following
address (

Technical data
Table 3-2 Technical data of the drive system
Feature Value
Line connection voltage 3AC 380… 480V ±10% (-15% < 1min)
Line frequency 50/60 Hz (47 … 63 Hz)
Electronics power supply 24V DC -15 / +20%, safety/protective extra-low voltage (SELV/PELV)
1) 2)
Maximum rated short-circuit current
(SCCR) according to UL61800-5-1
100kA at 480V
The SCCR value depends on the overcurrent protective device used, and can be taken
from the following product information: "Protective Devices for SINAMICS S220 Line
Modules Booksize (https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109804134)"
Electromagnetic compatibility According to IEC 61800-3: Used in the second environment (industrial line supplies). As
standard, Category C3. With additional components, Category C2.
Overvoltage category III
3)
according to IEC61800-5-1, UL61800-5-1 and CSAC22.2No274
Pollution degree 2 according to IEC61800-5-1, UL61800-5-1 and CSAC22.2No274
Sound pressure level with internal
air cooling
< 75 dB(A)
< 85 dB(A) for Motor Modules 85A...200A
1)
Power supplies with safety extra-low voltage (SELV) can be used. The electric circuit must be implemented as a PELV circuit
due to the internal grounding of the 24V electronics power supply in the components.
2)
In the case of a fault, the power supply voltage must not exceed 60VDC (DVCA).
3)
The components are designed for connection to circuits of overvoltage Category III. If this has not already been ensured by
the installation, an upstream overvoltage protection device may have to be installed. Overvoltages must be limited to 6 kV
against ground and 4kV between phases. Overvoltage protection devices must be suitable for the line voltage and the
prospective short-circuit current of the line.
