anunusedLANport,butwishtobringitbacktoEK15use,youmustalsoclick
thisbutton.
9Remove
OncetheEK15hasidentiedandlistedalltheavailableLANportsonthecomputer,
thesecannotbeusedbyanyothersoftwareapplicationsonthesamecomputer.
IftheEK15doesnotneedaspecicLANport,itcanbereleasedforotheruse.Click
ontheapplicableporttoselectit,thenclicktheRemovebuttontodeletetheportfrom
thelist.Notethatnoacknowledgementisrequired,theportisremovedinstantly.
10Setup
InordertouseaLAN(Ethernet)porttoreceiveortransmitinformation,its
communicationparametersmustbesetuptomatchtheperipheraldevice.
Clickoneofthelistedportstoselectit,thenclicktheSetupbuttontosetuptheport
parameters.Adedicateddialogboxisprovided.
11Monitor
Ifyoususpectthatthecommunicationontheportisineffective,faultyormissing,
youcanmonitortheowoftelegrams.
Clickoneofthelistedportstoselectit,thenclicktheMonitorbuttontoobservethe
datacommunicationontheselectedport.Adedicateddialogboxisprovided.
