Purpose
Ifyouclickoneofthefrequencychannelsinthechannellist,additionalinformation
abouttherelevanttransceiverisprovided.
Thepurposeofthetransceiverinformationeldistoprovideyouwithanoverviewof
thetechnicalparametersofthechosenfrequencychannel.
YoumayalsochoosetochangetheIPaddressonthetransceiver,anddownloadsoftware
toupgradeit.Softwareupdatesareonlyavailableifandwhendistributedwiththe
EK15operationalsoftware.
Notethatinformationprovidedhereisnotrequiredforoperationaluse.
Parameters
1ChangeIPaddress
TheEK15transceiversareprovidedbySimradreadilysetupwithaxedEthernet
addressandanIPaddress.IfyourEK15usestwooremoretransceivers,these
mustusedifferentEthernetaddresses.IfyoubuyacompleteEK15systemwith
acomputerandtherequirednumberoftransceivers,everythingwillbereadily
setup.Ifyouprovideyourowncomputer,oraddnewtransceiverstoanexisting
installation,youmustmanuallychangetheIPaddressesonyournewtransceiver(s).
ThebuttonopenstheIPAddressdialogtoacceptthenewaddress.

ItispossibletoupdatethesoftwareintheEK15singlebeamtransceiver.
ThisupdateisonlynecessaryifnewfunctionalityintheEK15softwarerequires
anewersoftwareversion.Thesoftwarereleasenoteprovidedwilltheninclude
thenecessaryinstructions.Transceiversoftwareupdatecanalsobeusefulifyou
haveanoldunit.
