Purpose
Thepurposeofthechannellististoprovideyouwithanoverviewofthefrequency
channelscurrentlyavailable.Ifyouhavemanytransceiversconnectedyoucanchange
thesizeofthedialogbox,oryoucanusethetwoarrowsontherighthandsideofthe
listtoscrollupanddown.
Parameters
1Type
Thisisthetypeoftransceivercurrentlyavailableonthenetwork.
SBTmeansSingleBeamTransceiver.
2EthernetAddress
ThisistheEthernetaddressofthetransceiver.Thisaddressisxed,anditcan
notbechanged.
3Transducer
Thiscolumnholdsthefrequencyandthetransducertypeconnected.
Theleftspin-boxisnotusedontheEK15,asonlyonefrequencyisavailable.
Therightspin-boxisusedtoselecttransducer.SincetheEK15usesasinglebeam
transceiverwithonlyonefrequencyandonlyonetransducer,thisspin-boxacts
likean“on/off”switch.
TheEK15isdesignedforoperationwiththededicatedtransducer(labelled
200–28CM).Othertransducersmaybeused.Consultyourdealerformore
information.
4Status
ThefollowingstatusvaluesareavailableintheTransceiverInstallationdialogbox.
•Busy:Thefrequencychannelisalreadyinuse,probablybyanotherechosounder
onthesamenetwork.Y oucannotconnecttothischannel.
•Installed:ThisfrequencychannelisconnectedtoyourEK15system.
•Lost:Thisfrequencychannelcannotbeused.
•Available:Thisfrequencychannelisvacantandreadyforuse.
