1OpentheObject
Inspector[sonar
program].
2OpenSimradSU90→SensorIOControl→HWPortManagerbyclickingthe+
symbols.
3Observethelistofcommunicationports.
4Clickthe+signinfrontoftheserialorEthernet(LAN)portyouwishtomonitor.
Someinterfaceportsareusedbythesonarsystem.Bydefaultthisis:
•Serial1isusedtocommunicatewiththeOperatingPanel.
•LAN1isusedtocommunicatewiththeMotorControlUnit.
5ClicktheCOMsymbolundertheserialport,ortheportnumberundertheLANport
