6.3 Software upgrade, launch DC update companion
What can now be done ?
The following updates of the software are possible with Communicator 4.4 or higher:
• Barco DC package update:
- Projector software
- Touch panel software
• Enigma link decryptor software
• Integrated Cinema Processor (ICP) software
Download the corresponding update package from the secured Barco web site, h
ttps://my.barco.com on
aUSBstick. ThisUSBstickcanthenbepluggedinonthetouchpanel.
For Enigma link decrypor and ICP update package, unzip the package file into a new directory. For the
projector software and the touch panel software package, unzipping is not possible. the filecanbeused
as is.
The ICP and Linkdecryptor package file contains at least
• a zipped version of the update program which contains a setup.exe file to install the program. Can
also be unzipped.
• a release file with the new software.
• a release note (pdf document)
• a Software Manifest for ICP Production Release (pdf document)

2. Tip on Launch DC update companion (2).
The DC update companion window starts up (3).
3. Tip Next to continue (4).
4. Read the licence agreement and check accept. Tip Next to continue. (ima

5. Continue with the specific procedure for each type of package.
