menttoaknowngoodground.

ThemoduleswillpowerupwhentheMainBreakerontheACPDisturnedonandthefollowingsounds
andindicatorsshouldbeobserved,refertoforanoverviewoftheindicatorsthatshouldbeon.

start-up,motionwilltakeplace.Itistheuser’sresponsibilitytoinitiateasafestart-upoftheMarathon
Expresssystem.
NOTE: Ifstart-upwassuccessful,theMarathonExpressisreadytoacceptcommands.If,however,
thestart-upsequencewasunsuccessful,referto"InitialTroubleshooting"onpage203.

ReturnMarathonExpresssystemtooperationorteachtheMXsystemasrequired.
TheBrooksAutomationMarathonExpresssystemmustbealignedwiththesystemthatitwillbe
operatingintopreventmisplacementofthematerialbeingmovedthroughthesystemorcollisionof
therobotwithotherpartsofthesystem.Notethatevenasmallmisalignmentcaninterferewith
properMXsystemoperationandmaycausematerialbreakageorMXsystemdamage.
TheusermustperformacompletealignmentaspartofinstallingtheMXsystem.
