Maintenance and Adjustments
CAUTION: Before performing any maintenance or adjustments on the side sweep system, make
sure the key switch is off, the key is removed from the machine and the parking brake is
engaged.
Replacing a Side Broom
1. Turn the key switch on, raise the hopper to convenient
height, then turn the key switch off.
2. Remove the key from the machine.
3. Unscrew the Thumb Nut Weldment, then remove the
Side Broom and Side Broom Guard from the Side Broom
Hub Assembly.
4. Reinstall the Side Broom by following the above steps in
reverse order.
