5. Inspect the carbon brushes and replace as necessary.
New brush length is approximately 13/16” (20 mm)
6. Reinstall the cover with O-ring in place.
7. Gently pry the carbon brushes back
against their springs just far enough to
slip them over the commutator.
8. Gently slide the cover into place and
align the witness marks made earlier.
9. Reinstall the through bolts and tighten
the wire retaining nut.
