Last Topology Change
— The amount of time that has elapsed since the bridge was initialized or
reset, and the last topographic change occurred. The time is displayed in a day hour minute second
format, for example, hour minutes and seconds.
Defining STP Global Parameters

Open the
STP Global Settings
page.

Select the port that needs to be enabled from the
Select a Port
drop-down menu.

Enable
in the
Spanning Tree State
field.

Select the
STP
mode in the
STP Operation Mode
field, and define the bridge settings.

Apply Changes

STP is enabled on the device.
Modifying STP Global Parameters

STP Global Settings
page.

Define the fields in the dialog.

The STP parameters are modified, and the device is updated.

spanning-tree mode {stp | rstp} Configures the spanning tree protocol.
spanning-tree priority priority Configures the spanning tree priority.
spanning-tree hello-time seconds Configures the spanning tree bridge Hello
Time, which is how often the
device
broadcasts Hello messages to other
switches.
spanning-tree max-age seconds Configures the spanning tree bridge
maximum age.
spanning-tree forward-time
seconds
Configures the spanning tree bridge
forward time, which is the amount of time
a port remains in the listening and learning
states before entering the forwarding state.
